Monson Ski Center Opens

John & Sue Chase held a ribbon cutting ceremony to officially open the A Fierce Chase Cross County Ski trails in Monson. Over 30 people were in attendance including State Senator Paul Davis, Reps Ruel Cross and Earl Richardson.

SPCCC executive director Dennis Lyford welcomed guests and introduced John Holden Executive Director of the Piscataquis County Economic Development Council and Council President Tom Lizotte, both thanked the Chase's for bringing a new business to Piscataquis County. Also welcoming John & Sue were Monson Town manager Jeannie Reed and Toni Blake of the Moosehead Chamber. Following the ceremony refreshments were served.
