Better Business Lighting for Winter
Winter is here with darker days and weather that can make your business harder to spot and more treacherous to approach.

There is still time to ensure visability of your business and install new building illumination, path lights, or parking-lot lighting to increase the appeal, security, and safety of your business in the months to follow.

Here's what other business owners have to say about the lighting of their businesses:
"We leave the lobby, entry and inside security lighting on 24 hours a day. It helps protect our property and gives a sense of warmth and security to our workplace."
Michael F. Cook, Owner
Michael F. Cook and Associates, Farmington

"Our business has increased 50% since we increased the wattage and number of fixtures in our store. Now, customers can really browse - and buy - in comfort."
Baree Pribyl, Owner
ABCD Books, Camden

"I can't believe how much more business I do at night since we installed a new area light and increased the lighting in our parking lot. I think people feel safe and it lets them know we are open for business."
John Disanto, Owner
Anjon's Italian Restaurant, Scarborough

You know that the smart use of lighting can make your business more productive, safe, and profitable. Call Dick Bacon, CMP's Lighting Expert today at 1-800-649-1169 and get started on your way to a better bottom line!

Dick's Expert Picks - Lighting tips to grow your bottom line.
1) Add track lighting to highlight your product of the day. Use over 80 hours of spot light for $1 in electricity costs.

2) Place high turnover items under highly lit and color corrected lighting for best brand recognition. A 2-lamp fluorescent fixture will run over 150 hours for just $1 of electricity.

3) Add lighting to your building exterior or walkway. If customers can see you, and feel safe and comfortable, they will stop at your business. Highlight your storefront dusk to dawn for just 28 cents of electricity.
