The course costs $25 for recertifications and $35 (textbook included) for new learners. For more information or to register, call Nina Pratt at Heartwise, 564-4207.

Heartwise will also launch a month-long project, in cooperation with Goulette's IGA in Guilford, Graves SuperMarket in Dover-Foxcroft, Save-A-Lot, Bud's Shop 'n Save in Dexter, and the Milo Farmers Union, to promote the importance of proper diet in preventing heart disease. Labels will identify more than 1,000 items of Heart Healthy foods throughout those stores.
