DOVER-FOXCROFT - Mayo Regional Hospital's Auxiliary has scheduled its Summerfest sale, one of the group's largest annual fundraising events, for 9 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday, July 6, at the American Legion hall, Park Street, Dover-Foxcroft. The hall will be open on Friday, July 5, to prepare for the sale and accept additional items. Summerfest offers a variety of items for sale, including rummage, clean clothes, books, and surplus furniture from the hospital. There will also be a food sale. In conjunction with Summerfest, the Auxiliary is also sponsoring a raffle sale, with tickets being sold for a homemade quilt donated by Nora Roberts, and two mirrors from Moosehead Manufacturing. Those items are now on display in the hospital lobby; tickets are available at the volunteer office at $1 each, for six for $5. |
