Her story collection extends from ancient mythology to world folktales; from original pieces to tales from this region of Maine.

"Daylight In The Swamp" combines fiddle and guitar music with original poetry bringing to life stories of historic and contemporary Maine. Susan Crippen of Blanchard and Elise Sproul of Schoodic Lake, playing fiddle and guitar, portray the influence of Finnish music and dance. Paul Corrigan of Greenville speaks his powerful poetry telling of the Finnish-Americans in Piscataquis County.
