Bring your picnic blanket or lawn chair, a sweater in case of a cool lake breeze, and sunglasses to view a classic Moosehead sunset while "Fiddlin'woodsprite" Sue Crippen, Kev & Elise Sproul, and Terry Spearrin work their musical magic on your ears. Rain venue: Ready workers Community House located at the corner of Pritham Avenue and Lakeview Street. For more information call: 207-695-2702 or write to: [email protected]

The performance of "Bow'nstrings" is a highlight among the events of the annual Forest Heritage Days celebration. After attending a hearty bean supper hosted by the Ready Workers at the Community House, one may sit back and listen to the group's diverse repertoire of jigs, reels, waltzes, and ballads coming from the New England and Maritime folk, bluegrass, and Finnish traditions. These talented musicians bring together an artfully played fiddle, the classic twang of a banjo, the rippling sweetness of a mandolin, serious guitar picking, some four part vocals, and the steady beat of a bass fiddle to please audiences all over the Moosehead Region. Come and sing along, dance a little, and be enchanted by the sounds of this lively music! "You are the music while the music lasts." T.S. Eliot
