DEXTER - North Country Riding Club has established a scholarship fund in memory of 2000-2003 member Irene Cochrane of Dexter. Along with several other organizations, NCRC wanted to remember Irene Cochrane in a very special way, as she was so special to all of us. At this time, NCRC has received over $200 in scholarship donations from friends, family and the community. We would like to thank all of you for your generosity to others. NCRC is honoring Irene Cochrane for all her community contributions, by awarding the Annual Irene Cochrane Memorial Scholarship to a Maine senior or to one seeking higher education in the Horse Related Field. Scholarship applications are available at DRHS guidance office or you may receive a copy by emailing your request to: [email protected]. You can also call Amie Smith at (207) 924-7185. You do not need to be an NCRC member to apply. Amount of scholarship(s) will be determined at a later date by the NCRC Scholarship Committee.
