Dover-Foxcroft business leaders announced plans to hold a Rally for America to benefit the victims of the September 11th attack on America. The rally, which is tentative, planned for Saturday October 6th, will consist of music, speeches and fund �raising events in support of the American Red Cross and other relief organizations.

Chairmen Bruce Robinson of Robinson�s Mattress & Appliance announced that several Dover-Foxcroft businesses have agreed to donate a percentage of their sales on that day to the American Red Cross.

Robinson explained that community support is critical to this effort, and that the committee is asking other businesses, churches, organizations and individuals to join in support this effort by organizing events through the day. Robinson also pointed out that during the Second World War Dover�Foxcroft conducted drives to sell war bonds, collect scrap metals and other effort in support on this great Country.
