Penquis CAP offers "Our Children's Future" for Professionals who work with Children
BANGOR--The Penquis CAP Child Abuse and Neglect Councils of Penobscot and Piscataquis Counties are offering a series of workshops called "Our Children's Future" for teachers and others who work with children. The monthly series begins on Thursday January 9 with a workshop entitled "Identifying Child Neglect and Physical, Sexual, and Emotional Abuse." The presenter will be Dave Samuelian, Professor and Coordinator of the Mental Health and Human Services Programs at the University College of Bangor. The cost of this workshop is $40.

Continuing Education Units are available for this and all of the workshops in this series.

All workshops will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Penquis C.A.P., 262 Harlow Street in Bangor. The workshops will also be available at the same time by videoconference at the Penquis C.A.P. office at 50 North Street in Dover-Foxcroft. A light supper is included in both locations.
