DEXTER - The Town of Dexter is now providing free snowmobile trailer parking at the Dexter Municipal Beach on Little Lake Wassookeag on Route 23. The beach parking area will be plowed by the Town Public Works and kept open for the convenience of snowmobile and ATV riders 24-7 and is centrally located just off the ITS85 Trail. New direction signs are being erected according to Town Manager Bob Simpson. In addition to the Beach parking, Dexter also provides an entry off from the ITS85/Railroad Bed trail on Grove Street for free parking behind Tillson True Value for downtown shoppers, banking and restaurant goers. Municipal officials, Dexter Regional Development Corporation and downtown business owners continue its efforts in creating convenience parking for all types of transportation.
