NCRC offers Horse & Sled Rides for Dexter Winter Festival

As part of the Dexter Winter Festival, The North Country Riding Club will once again be offering Horse Sled Rides on February 14, 2004 at Hamilton Stables in Dexter. Last year over 100 people came and enjoyed the rides.

Local horseman, Travis Gould, is harnessing his team of beautiful Belgium's to a new sled and offering rides to the public throughout the day on Saturday Valentines Day starting at 10 am. A "Snow date" is scheduled for two weeks later on February 28 at the same time & location. Gould is well known in the "pulling circuit" for his Belgium Team of horses.

Bring your blankets, your favorite Valentine and family for a scenic ride through the wooded fields for only $3 for Adults, Youths $2 and anyone under the age of 5 rides FREE! Hot drinks and goodies will also be offered as part of NCRC fundraising efforts for the 2004 season.

We hope you will come and enjoy the beautiful view of Lake Wassookeag and a relaxing sled ride with North Country Riding Club, Hamilton Stables and the Travis Gould Sled Rides. Hamilton Stables is located on the Crocket Road, just up from the Radar Runs on Little Lake Wassookeag Beach.
