New England Aquarium trip May 21st
Tuesday, April 27, 2004
The first escorted bus trip of the spring season for the Moosehead Historical Museum will take place on Friday, May 21 when travelers head to the New England Aquarium in Boston.

This will be a special day trip for young and not-so-young. Penguins will greet us as begin our tour of more than 70 aquarium exhibits that feature aquatic animals and habitats from around the world. We will see sharks, sea turtles, green moray eels and colorful tropical fishes in a giant, four-story coral reef exhibit, and much more.

The tour will leave Greenville at 6:30 a.m., and return at about 10 p.m. The bus will pick up passengers as needed in Monson, Abbot, Guilford, Dover-Foxcroft, Dexter and Newport. Other stops may be arranged as necessary. Lunch will be on your own at the Harbor View Restaurant in the aquarium. Supper, also on your own, will be at the Old Country Buffet in the Maine Mall in South Portland.

The cost is $70 for adults and $60 for children 12 and under. The price includes transportation and admissions. The Moosehead Historical Museum charters air conditioned motorcoaches for all trips, and these coaches have restrooms on board.

Pre-registration is required, and may be made by calling 695-2909 (leave a message on the recorder if no one is in the office), then send a check to the Moosehead Historical Museum, P.O. Box 1116, Greenville, ME 04441. You may also email to [email protected]
