Chamber Executive Director Dennis Lyford explained that the Southern Piscataquis County Chamber of Commerce plans to focus more on tourism in the coming year and looks at the calendar as a way to attract more visitors to the region.

The Chamber is asking any businesses or organization who are planning to host event in the next twelve months and would like to see it included on the Chamber calendar, to contact Dennis Lyford at chamber at 564-7533.

Copies of the Chamber Calendar will also be available at Chamber office at 100 South Street in Dover-Foxcroft and on the Chamber web site www.spccc.org.
