Wayside Theatre's Special Programs
Tuesday, October 15, 2002
YOUTH THEATRE: If you missed the registration day on October 12, you can still enroll your child in Wayside's Youth Theatre. Area girls and boys in grades 2 through 7 may sign up by calling June Woodman at 924-8813 or Youth Theatre Director Bob Keniston at 564-8049. Classes are scheduled to be held on Saturdays, 10AM until Noon for grades 2 through 4 and 1PM to 3 PM for grades 5 through 7. Enrollment is $10 per class for each session of ten classes, paid in advance ($100), and each ten-week session will end with a performance by the students. No experience is necessary, and all are welcome to take part in this wonderful opportunity for children. Space is limited, so register your child as soon as possible for this first session.

ACT II PLAYERS: Program Director Isabel Jacobs will welcome new members to Act II Players, a play-reading group for men and women over the age of 50. This is a wonderful opportunity to participate in "theatre" without the stress of learning lines or performing before an audience, and it's a great way to get out of the house to meet with congenial people to have some fun. Call Isabel at 924-6414 or June Woodman at 924-8813. There is no fee for this program.

ACTORS WORKSHOP: Dodie Stowe directs this program which offers coaching for men and women of all ages. No theatre experience is necessary, but it is a good way to brush up your acting skills if you acted in college or high school in years past. For the novice, it is a chance to learn how to audition, deliver lines, identify with a character, - and conquer stagefright! There is no fee for this program, which meets on Sunday afternoons at Wayside Theatre on Rte. 23. All are welcome, including high school students. Call Dodie at 876-3544 or June Woodman at 924-8813 for information.
